Girls! Girls! Girls!? | Cast

They say space is the final frontier, I disagree as Girls Girls Girls arrives on Kickstarter. The exceedingly beautiful visual novel by Myosuki needs your help, and a lot of it. To clarify, the team is asking for $50,000 in the next 29 days. Now, before you immediately dismiss it as an automatic fail, consider the following. This isn’t just a regular visual novel, in fact, quite the opposite. While it caters to a particularly hungry audience, it also stands on its own for an impressive level of quality. Now how do I know this? Myosuki actually provided this writer with an early access copy of the demo. I’ll publish my full thoughts below for anybody curious, but in short it competes with Japanese Visual Novels. A high quality product means high quality pricing, you can secure a copy of the game for $35. Play the demo and you’ll see.

So what’s Girls Girls Girls about anyways?

Akihabara, the electric town–hub for state-of-the-art technology, fashion, otaku goods, and the cutest boys in skirts you will ever see. Pop into the Girls! Girls! Girls!? Cafe and fall in love with one of four charming “ladies…” or maybe even all of them? Jump into a story full of fluff, romance, friendship, and crossdressing that will keep you coming back for more!

What do I think?

I’ll admit, I’m not too versed in this genre. However, when Myosuki presented me with the press kit, my curiosity peaked when looking at the character designs. I give the short demo a whirl and my jaw dropped at what I saw. Astonishing background art perfectly complementing the character art I fell in love with. Furthermore, the “women” are animated through Live2D with an assortment of cute animations that really bring out their archetypes. This, on top of the story choices that allow you to create your own pace with the characters, makes for a mind-blowing demo. Lastly, and I think the most important part, the developers really cater to lewd enthusiasts quite well. I’ll definitely be pledging and you should too.

While this is Myosuki’s first project as a company, they’ve got industry veterans working on this title and it shows. I understand that there might be some doubts here and there, especially with the high threshold, but I firmly believe they’ve got the potential to do tremendous things. As such, I’ve reached out to Myosuki for an interview and I hope you look forward to that article.
