Atlus has released new details for the upcoming Persona 5 Tactica. This includes information about the monsters, interactive stage elements and sub-personas, so let’s dig in.

First off players will encounter a diverse variety of enemies as the story progresses. Such as the Sumo-maton that tosses units around the battlefield, the Guarded Geisha that blocks many of your skill attacks, the Slimy Shinobi that clones itself and much more.

Stages will feature interactive elements such as security cameras, a dash square and even some explosive barrels. You will have to use these to your advantage if you want to overcome the fearsome foes you will face.

You can use the charge skill in battle to power up the effects of your skills. Just simply take no action for one turn and you will be ready to unleash fury on the enemy. All the characters’ effects will be different so try them all out to see which ones fit your play style best. Players will need to position themselves properly as well, or the risk may not be worth the reward.

Lastly, the Phantom Thieves can equip a Sub-Persona. This will not only give them a nice stat boost, but also allow them to use some new skill and get some benefits from some passive ones as well.

Persona 5 Tactica will be on sale November 17 and is available for pre-order for PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch and Steam for PC.

About Steve Baltimore

Steve started with oprainfall not long after the campaign moved from the IGN forums to Facebook. Ever since, he has been fighting to give all non-mainstream RPGs a fair voice. As the site admin, he will continue to do this and even show there is value in what some would deem "pure ecchi." He loves niche games and anime more than anything... well, except maybe Neptune.
