Originally teased as Dragon Ball Project Z, Bandai Namco’s upcoming action-RPG set in the Dragon Ball Z universe has been officially re-titled Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot. While there is still no hard release date for this title, we do know that it is aimed for a release sometime in 2020. We were also provided with a new trailer featuring Goku, Nappa, Vegeta, and Freiza. During the trailer, Goku fights against Freiza, though no actual gameplay was shown off. The trailer features only the Japanese audio, but the final release will include both English and Japanese audio as well as Spanish, Brazilian, and Portuguese subtitles. Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot is being developed by CyberConnect2 and published by Bandai Namco. It will be available at launch for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC.  While we still don’t know exactly when this is coming out, things are starting to feel more concrete.
