It was announced at Microsoft’s E3 briefing today that CrossfireX will be the first game in the series to come to console. It will be launching first on the Xbox One sometime in 2020. Xbox Game Pass members will also have access to unique content. CrossfireX is powered by the Unreal Engine 4, and developed in South Korea by Smilegate Entertainment. More details on the game are coming later this year.

The Crossfire series has 650 million registered players over its decade long history. It is a first-person shooter, free-to-play, and one of the most played PC games there is. Two mercenary corporations, “Black List” and “Global Risk”, are locked in a global battle, and players can be a mercenary for either one. Once they decide, they will work with a team to complete objective-based missions.

About Michael Fontanini

Michael is a veteran gamer in his late 30s, who grew up around video games, with fond memories of the oldies like the NES, SNES, and N64 among others. He loves Nintendo, but also plays a lot of games on his PC. Michael also enjoys going for walks/bike rides, loves animals, and enjoys thunderstorms (and science in general).

I love Nintendo but I also play a lot of game's on PC, many of which are on steam. My favorite Nintendo game's include Zelda, Metroid, and Smash Bros to name a few. On PC I love the Half-Life games, as well as most all of the Source Engine games just to name a few.
