Nintendo showed a new trailer for Animal Crossing: New Horizons, showing off the game, some new mechanics, and the fact that the game takes place on a deserted island. The visuals are of course a significant step up from the last home console game (Animal Crossing: City Folk), especially since that was back on the Wii, not the Wii U. The trailer also showed off some new game mechanics, such as jumping over a stream using a pole and creating paths. We also see her growing a small garden and crafting things.

At the end of the Animal Crossing: New Horizons trailer, they show a number of human characters gathering at the beach, which of course suggests there are a number of playable characters to choose from. It’s either that, or you may have some human neighbors this time. The bad news, is that the game has been delayed until March 20th, 2020. And lastly, here are a few screenshots from the presentation:
